The findings of the research project "Modelling Quality in Spray Drying" were collected in this dissertation. Modelling and measuring two phase flow was an important issue in the project. You can study some of the modelling results in detail on your own PC with the free viewer you can download. See Modelling Quality in Spray Drying: dissertation for more information.

The title of the PhD-project was "Modelling Quality in Spray Drying". Spray drying is a process for making products such as milk powder. The objective of the project was to develop a model with which the quality of a product to be spraydried can be predicted. With the model, it is possible to predict what the particles-to-be, experience on their way through the dryer regarding temperature and humidity. The main components of the model are airflow, temperature and humidity patterns and thermal degradation. See Modelling Quality in Spray Drying: research project information for more information.

This Windows program has two purposes: data-acquisition and data-processing. The data-acquisition is meant for lab measurements (0.1 - 200 Hz) on multiple signals. Several lab devices are suppported, to name a few: balances, UV-meters, AD-cards, Multilabs. The data-processing enables the user to handle his signal visually. He can cut parts of the signal, remove distortions, do basic calculations and so on. It is much like a wordprocessor for signals.

Humidity (Properties of moist air)

This MS-Windows program was developed in cooperation with prof. Piet Kerkhof. This is a very handy tool for calculating properties of moist air. Tientel telephone number conversions

This Dutch MS-Windows program, that was developed in cooperation with Martien Verbruggen (ref below), is a tool to convert telephone numbers to the new PTT number system. It works in combination with every Windows program and has advanced capabilities for searching numbers in a text, converting those numbers while the text is kept intact. · tientel.zip - Download a demonstration version of this program (222 k)

Iconbox (FREEWARE!)
